Private Room in Historic Poplar Lawn

Located in the Poplar Lawn Historic District, Gilliam House is a beautiful historic home from 1849 with a great view of Poplar Lawn Park, formerly known as Central Park. Stay in a private, posh room in our family home located just blocks from the dining, shopping, and museums of Old Towne Petersburg. Relax on the large front porch, the second story back porch or enjoy a fire in the backyard. This room is on the second floor of our home. Please note we do have dogs that we keep gated. The space Cozy room on the second floor of our home. There are steps. Right next to the guest bathroom and the door leading to the upstairs porch with a comfy swing and seating area. Guest access Guests have access to the gourmet kitchen and large dining room and all porches. Long term guests are welcome to use the laundry facilities located off the kitchen. During your stay I am available for questions. I do work from home so am here most of the time. Other things to note We have 2 med-lrg (Boxer & Mixed English Bulldog), 1 Old English bulldog, and 1 English Bulldog and a kitty (tabby). They don't go in guest rooms and are gated when we have guests.
