The space St. Anton am Arlberg is an Austrian village in the Tyrolean Alps. It is considered the gateway to the Arlberg ski area and is called the "cradle of alpine skiing", as modern skiing was invented here. The St. Anton am Arlberg Museum, installed in a traditional mountain hut, focuses on the history of local skiing. A branching network of mountain hiking trails starts in the village. Guaranteed snow and excellent slope conditions characterize the largest interconnected ski area in Austria. Ski Arlberg - with the villages of St. Anton, St. Christoph, Stuben, Lech, Zürs, Warth and Schröcken consists of more than 300 kilometers of marked slopes and 200 kilometers of variants in the open terrain. 87 state-of-the-art cable cars and lifts offer the highest standard of safety plus comfort.
