Nestled on a spacious two acres with 280ft+ lake frontage with private dock and wetlands area. Enjoy the outdoors - kayaking, fishing, swimming, or nighttime smores by the firepit. Or just relax - savor the views while listening to the call of the loons. Perfect for creating new memories as you recharge and reconnect with family and friends. Close to Interlochen Center for the Arts. The space OUTDOOR LIVING: Private lake access and dock, 4 kayaks plus life vests to enjoy the water, a fire pit, outdoor patio area, and a gas grill. We also include several beach towels for guest use. Kayaks and dock are available May through September. INDOOR LIVING: Amazing interior lake views with floor to ceiling windows that provide lots of natural light, gas fireplace, full dining room with table that seats 10, living room with 65" flat-screen TV (with Amazon firestick where guests can log into their favorite personal apps). The house has zone heating and air conditioning units are installed in each bedroom. House features a sunroom with plenty of family friendly games. The game room includes a foosball table, and the garage includes a ping pong table. KITCHEN: Fully equipped with brand-new stainless-steel refrigerator and dishwasher. Includes oven, microwave, toaster oven, drip coffee maker, Ninja blender, dishware, flatware, and wine glasses. It also includes pots, pans, baking sheets, storage containers, and serving trays. Make memories by cooking in with fresh farmer's market produce or enjoying takeout from one of the yummy restaurants in the area. GENERAL: Free Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, keyless entry, and trash service included. We also provide bed linens, bath towels, and kitchen towels/washcloths. Included in your visit is a welcome basket of Michigan goodies plus a starter set of consumables including soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher pods, paper towels, laundry pods, and dryer sheets. Guests are responsible if additional supplies are needed. PARKING: Two car garage with paved driveway (4 vehicles). Trailer parking available in side yard. PET FRIENDLY: Well behaved pets are welcome! We provide a dog bed, food and water dishes, and pet towels for your use. All pets must be disclosed, and $250 pet fee paid prior to arrival. We ask that pets not be allowed on the furniture or beds. We invite you to stay with us and experience pure Michigan at its finest. Guest access Guests have full access to the house, yard, and lake. Other things to note While we are proud to share our home with you, we want all guests to be aware of the following: • The loft bedroom and bunkroom are upstairs and there is no door to close them off from the downstairs or each other. Noise from the living room may carry upstairs. • Our house includes multiple steps - including steps at the entry, a step up into the house and stairs to the second story bedrooms. • The lake depth at the dock varies from 1.5-3 ft, depending on rainfall. The bottom is a mixture of sand and mucky sediment. • The house borders a two-lane road, which is not highly trafficked. The cars that do go by are usually going 45-55 mph. The house and back yard are significantly set back from the road.
