The space Sitting off the main road between Pollença and Sa Pobla this charming country house boasts a lovely private pool, impressive rural outlook and an appealing, traditionally welcoming interior that offers an exceptional amount of space for just two people. With such a high level of comfort plus the convenience of having all amenities including the many excellent restaurants of historic, iconic Pollença only a few minutes' (5km) drive away Ca’n Paner is a wonderful choice as a holiday base. Meticulously looking after the property, Maria and her son Jaume do everything they can to ensure that each visitor has the most enjoyable, relaxing stay possible - the accompanying photographs and comments from past guests being a clear testament to their success. Though you would never guess Ca’n Paner was once a stables and animal shed! Modern décor and conveniences may have removed any semblance of this former life but look a little closer and features such as the high sloping wood beamed ceilings, cobbled vestibule, thick olive wood front doors (handmade by Jaume) plus various well preserved artefacts and photographs not only add character but are also a subtle nod to an illustrious farming past. Outside sweet scented hibiscus borders the long front terrace making this a lovely place in which to dine while admiring the pastoral views across the private pool. A bustling market takes over the square in Pollença every Sunday morning while golf (3km), sandy beaches (Cala San Viçens is 11.5km, Port de Pollença 12.5km), cycle routes, walking trails, wine-tasting and bird watching are just a few of the activities found in the surrounding area. Palma makes a great day trip, particularly via the scenic local train that runs from nearby Sa Pobla (9km). Property Licence No: VT/100267 Air conditioning usage is on a timer (12 hours per day).
