Haus Archaeopteryx – unique in the nature park

HAUS ARCHAEOPTERYX is located in the midst of beautiful nature, surrounded by a huge, park-like garden with a private swimming pool, sauna and ping pong table, just a stone's throw from the legendary Archaeopteryx quarries. Fantastic hiking and cycling tours await right outside the front door as well as numerous attractions and excursions in the Altmühltal Nature Park. The space Haus ARCHAEOPTERYX is located on a 9000 m² property in the area of an abandoned quarry heap completely reclaimed by nature. The elevated terrain with partly magnificent views impresses with its varied topography and the charming contrast between beautifully landscaped garden and natural dry biotopes with species-rich flora. Narrow, regularly mowed meadow paths lead to several tree-lined corners and a viewpoint with a rustic, restored shepherd's wagon. Due to its layout, the house is particularly suitable for families of friends. Tasteful, spacious furnishings. Lovingly renovated in the regional style. Partly Solnhofer slabs with underfloor heating, wooden floorboards, exposed wooden beams and wood-paneled ceilings (partly sloping roof). Guest access 10-room house, 2 floors. Ground floor: hallway with wardrobe. Living room with large dining table and seating area, tiled stove (only decoration) with stove bench, garden exit. Kitchen (4 plates, oven, microwave, dishwasher, 2 refrigerators, coffee maker, kettle, toaster) with small dining area. Double room with terrace exit. Shower/toilet, separate toilet/urinal. 1st floor (sloping roof, partially limited standing height): Large living room with sitting area and TV. Small living room with work/game table and access to small bedroom with French bed. 3 bedrooms, each with French Bed. Bedroom with king size double bed, sitting area and TV. Bedroom with French bed and access to a twin bedroom. All bedrooms on the 1st floor have fly screens. Two bathrooms: bathtub/toilet/bidet. Shower/toilet. 2 satellite TVs. Internet access (50 Mbps, Wi-Fi, included). Washer/dryer. Heating. At the house, there is a large garden with a furnished terrace and a transportable grill. In a sheltered south-facing location in front of the outbuilding is the pool (10 x 5 m, mid-May to mid-September depending on the weather) with a furnished pool terrace. In the outbuilding, clad with Solnhofer natural stone slabs, there are: table tennis, wellness room with sauna, 2 loungers, showers and toilet. Maximum occupancy: 16 people.
