Lovin' Oven GUESTROOM at Arbor House Inn Bed and Breakfast on the River

KING. Also known as the Honeymoon or Anniversary Suite, our largest and most luxurious guest room is located on the far end of the ground-floor wing and closest to the river. This room features two entrances that both lead to the river. With a private front entrance and direct back access to the oversized party deck with canopied hot tub, log arbor, and beautifully landscaped backyard grounds, it has become the requested favorite of many repeat guests. Snuggle into the king-size bed and enjoy the flickering candle fireplace, in-room whirlpool tub for two, and private bathroom with shower. The Lovin’ Oven is the perfect room to celebrate a romantic getaway or intimate honeymoon in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. Arbor House Inn common areas are for all guests and include the living room area with fireplace, large TV, game table, and comfortable seating for guests to mingle and enjoy some friendly conversation. The light-filled dining room features two-story windows with views of the deck leading to the back grounds, river, cliffs and forest. At the corner of the deck is the hot tub over looking the river--great way to relax after a big day of hiking, fishing, golfing or skiing. The rustic, riverside log arbor and firepit seating area is the perfect place for a morning cup, an evening glass or a round of s'mores and story swapping among Arbor House guests. And our favorite spot for enjoying the general outdoors, and river in particular, is Camp Calvin featuring a rustic firepit surrounded with Adirondack chairs, solar party lights, picnic and serving tables. It's the BEST spot to dip some toes into the chilly waters of the South Fork of the Rio Grande! As far as breakfast is concerned, the Lovin' Oven at the Arbor House has FOUR options: (1) Traditional full breakfast served in the dining room with other inn guests at a prearranged time--the more the merrier! (2) Full breakfast delivered to the guestroom at a prearranged time and enjoyed either indoors in complete seclusion or outdoors on the front patio overlooking the river. Beautiful! (3)Breakfast basket in your guestroom allowing you to sleep late and enjoy breakfast at your leisure. (4) Grab-n-go breakfast bags in your room enabling you to get up early and hit the road. Choices must be specified the night prior, and we will deliver the appropriately packaged breakfasts to your guestroom to be placed in your fridge.
