Needing an unforgettable escape? This cozy cottage is nestled in nature along the Nottawasaga river and has large panel doors that fully open for picture worthy views & peaceful sounds of the river. A new incredible outdoor fire-pit with hanging egg chairs. A cozy indoor wood burning fireplace along with a comfy pull out couch that has a projector above for the best movie nights. Heated floors if you aren't interested in maintaining a fire, fully equipped kitchen, Wi-fi, AC and washer/dryer. The space @hockleyriversidecottage - Get away from the hustle and bustle of life and cozy up in nature! Welcome to The Hockley Riverside cottage located along the Nottawasaga River. Don't worry, you’re still a quick 15 minute drive to Orangeville where you can enjoy restaurants and shopping. 6 minute drive to Hockley valley resort - spa, golf course and ski hill. 5 minute drive to Hockley general store/ LCB0. 10 minute drive to mono cliffs provincial park and many more local attractions. Completely renovated in 2022, the open concept layout with floor to ceiling panel doors to truly take advantage of the natural light and tranquility the property has to offer. It has a clean modern touch, you will feel right at home amongst the nature. Enjoy your morning coffee or tea out on the back porch and enjoy listening to the water flow or in the outdoor hanging chairs around the fire which are a guest-favorite! Enjoy our fully-equipped kitchen ( no microwave) with everything you need to create delicious meals to share with family and friends and many more amenities to make your getaway a beautiful and memorable experience. Guest access The cottage is accessed by a privately maintained road. We have private on-site parking with enough space for 2 vehicles. The Bunkie (room with bunkbeds) is separate from the cottage and has no heat so is only useable when weather permits. *Generally May 1st - October 31st* Upper loft area inside the cottage has a Queen sized memory foam mattress. (Bedroom 2) Must climb ladder to access. Can comfortably accommodate 1 adults or 2 children. Pull out sofa bed is a Double with all bedding and pillows stored in the long section of the couch. Guests will access the cottage via smart key pad access. Code will be given day of check in. Other things to note • No wandering off the property- all surrounding properties are private. Do not trespass and please respect the neighbours. • It’s a very quiet area so noise needs to be kept to a minimum at all times to keep the peaceful environment. • No microwave • Room for only 2 vehicles to park in the driveway • Tv is a projector that any streaming service you have ( Netflix, Prime, Crave etc ) can be used on. A chrome cast is connected but adaptors to connect your phone or laptop are also provided. • The Bunkie ( Room with bunkbeds) is closed Oct 31st - May 1st. No heat. * Upper loft area - Queen sized memory foam mattress. (Bedroom 2) Must climb ladder. Can comfortably accommodate 1 adult or 2 children. • Winter tires will be necessary during winter months.
