A 105 m² single-storey gîte, surrounded by nature, with a swimming pool, a pond and a stream. It accommodates up to 8 guests and offers a garden and sunny terrace. New 8 x 4 m swimming pool, maximum depth 1.60 m, equipped with a heating cover. A temporary terrace is in place, with outdoor landscaping planned for autumn and spring. We welcome you to a peaceful setting, ideal for relaxing with family, friends, or enjoying some quiet time alone. The space The cottage includes: * 3 comfortable bedrooms with quality bedding and shutters to ensure a restful night's sleep; * 2 shower rooms, including one en-suite bedroom; * a spacious living room with a dining area, fireplace, and piano available for guests; * a fully equipped kitchen; * a separate toilet. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals: a 3-burner gas hob, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, air fryer, multifunction microwave with various cooking modes, coffee maker with a permanent filter for ground coffee, toaster, kettle, and more. The cottage’s main asset is its peaceful setting. The swimming pool, pond and natural spring are nearby. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and exploring. The pool is shared only with our family when our children are home during the holidays. The rest of the time, you will generally have it to yourselves. The garden is not fenced, and the farmhouse is surrounded by meadows. Pets are welcome. Nearby, at our neighbour's farm, you can see horses, goats, cows, chickens, dogs, and cats. Water comes from the farm's well, and hot water is produced using solar energy. We live on the property, on the other side of the house, and are happy to provide advice on local activities, walks, and places to discover in the area. Practical information: For shopping, you can visit either La Coquille or Chalus, both about 7 km away, where you’ll find local shops and a supermarket. We also provide a few bicycles for your use. The property is located just a few hundred meters from the Camino de Santiago (Way of St. James) and along the route of the future GR89, connecting Lyon to Bordeaux. From our farm, it’s easy to access main roads and explore the Périgord and Dordogne regions. During high season, a minimum stay duration is required (see calendar).
