Summary: Join us on 43 wooded acres on Sandy Pond! Our campsite is located in the middle of the property next to a three season stream under a blanket of old growth Hemlock, Birch, and Maple. Only a short hike from beautiful 420 acre Sandy Pond where you can enjoy kayak and canoeing, swimming, fishing for wide mouth bass, or relaxing on a floatie! Hike the 43 acres of streams and wooded hills, hemlock and hardwood forests and even a hidden swamp full of cattails! Fall asleep listening to the loons on the pond. Around the corner is the famous Lost Kitchen Restaurant. Just down the road is the Hills to Sea hiking trail which spans from Unity to Belfast. Camp is located only 11 minutes from the Common Ground Fair and 20 minutes from Belfast waterfront. Camp Includes: Camp Shower, camp toilet, two queen bunk beds with air mattresses in the tent, propane cook stove, 4 plates, cups, bowls and silverware, 5 gallons of wash water, and a wood stove in the tent. Please watch for Esa upon entering the driveway, she will certainly come to greet you and is vocal but incredibly sweet, however still does not understand that cars are dangerous.
