Located in the old downtown area of Castroville, at the corner of Lisbon and Naples Street, this studio guesthouse was once the kitchen area of the Schmidt House which was built in 1870 according to the Texas Historical Survey Committee. The original home sits on site but is inaccessible pending restoration efforts. The space This high ceiling studio apartment is equipped with internet, ceiling fans and central a/c and offers a full kitchen, walk-in shower, washer/dryer, king size bedroom and large shared yard with outdoor seating. Guests can park off-street parallel to the guesthouse. The blue picket fence has a gate with two openings. The entire yard, studio apartment and playground are available for guest use. Guest access The yard and playground are gated and available for guest use along with the picnic table. Other things to note If you are bringing a pet please bring a pet bed or your own linens. This will avoid an additional charge to replace any linens that get permanently stained or embedded with pet hair.
