Marriott's Grande Ocean - Luxury Resort on HHI!

Marriott's Grande Ocean is one of the premier Marriott properties and is located in the beautiful Sea Pines area of Hilton Head island. Walk miles of beautiful beach, ride your bike along the many miles of paved bike trails, or enjoy the many unique and independently owned restaurants that Hilton Head is famous for. For those that love golf or tennis, HHI is a great location to enjoy those activities. The space Lushly landscaped resort, with plenty of activities to keep your entire group entertained. Enjoy access to 3 Outdoor Pools, an Indoor Pool, a Fitness Center, Whirlpools, Bocce Ball, Shuffleboard, a Putting Green, Nature Trails, a seasonal Kid's Camp, On-site Dining, and of course, the beach. Comfortable and spacious 2BR/2BA villas featuring an open Living and Dining area, with Queen sized Sleeper sofa, and large furnished Balcony. At the end of each day, gather the family together to enjoy your favorite movie or whip up a quick snack in your fully-equipped Kitchen, with Stove, Oven, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave, Toaster, Coffee Maker, etc. Master Bedroom has a King size bed, and oversized Master Bath with large Garden Tub and large Walk In Shower. The Second bedroom has 2 Queen beds with access to a second Bathroom with Shower and Tub. There is also a Washer / Dryer in your unit. Guest access This is a Resort property. So Guests will have their own private unit, but Resort Amenities (Pools, Hot tubs, Spa / Sauna, Gym, Games, Owner's Lounge, etc) will be shared with other guests. Other things to note - Primary Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this minimum age requirement for the primary Guest who will be checking in. Your security deposit will be returned to you after Check Out if you have not made any charges to your room. - Grande Ocean is professionally managed and operated by Marriott Vacations. The Front Desk is staffed 24/7 for Check-In, Check-Out, and is available for any questions, issues, or need for assistance. They are there to help so please don’t hesitate to contact them during your stay. - This is a FLOATING unit type. What that means is that you are guaranteed an OCEANSIDE / COURTYARD 2BR/2BA as depicted in the photos, but your unit location (specific Building assigned, High or Low floor, North or South courtyard, etc) and specific balcony configuration will be determined at Check In. You may also call the Front Desk ahead of time about 7-10 days before Check-In and request a certain unit location. Although you can never be guaranteed a specific location the Front Desk will usually try to accommodate requests if they can. - Please note that depending on your Unit location, your view could be obstructed by trees or shrubs in and around the Courtyard Villa areas. The landscaping on property is beautifully maintained, but it is also why you cannot be guaranteed any view of the Ocean, although your unit will be located very close to the Ocean. - Two FREE parking passes are included with this unit. If you need a parking pass for an additional vehicle you can arrange this directly with the Front Desk for an additional fee. - Bedding linens, blankets, pillows are provided, as are bath towels. If you need additional items or want fresh bedding linens or towels during your stay, please contact the Front Desk. Although bedding linens, blankets, and pillows are provided, you may want to bring some of your own if you have a favorite pillow or blanket. - If you plan on using the Sleeper sofa during your stay, I do personally recommend (if possible) bringing sheets, blankets, pillows, maybe even a mattress pad for the Sleeper sofa specifically, which can be turned into a very comfortable extra bed. - Pool towels are provided for free, and they can be exchanged for fresh ones on an unlimited basis. However, if you or your family owns and likes larger beach towels, I recommend bringing them, along with any other beach blankets / chairs / umbrellas / equipment you want at the beach. If you don’t bring your own beach chairs, umbrellas, equipment, etc you can rent the equipment on HHI. - There is no daily housekeeping provided. However there is a Washer / Dryer conveniently located inside your unit for your personal use. If additional housekeeping is desired during your stay it is available for an additional fee scheduled directly with the resort Front Desk. - Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, shampoos, etc are all provided. If you need more during your stay you can contact the Front Desk and they can provide them. We have never personally had an issue receiving the supplies we needed. - If you or any members of your family enjoy bike riding, I strongly recommend taking your own bikes (if you have the means to do so). Don't forget to also bring your bike locks. If you don't want to bring your own bikes, you can also easily rent bikes on property. - You will see wildlife native to South Carolina, including occasional glimpses of alligators that may be lounging in the lagoon areas. So please DO NOT attempt to swim in any of the ponds or lagoons on HHI.
