Ideal for those who love to relax in a comfortable, cozy, quiet environment but close to the main attractions of Lake Maggiore (Intra and Verbania, reachable in 15 minutes, Baveno, Stresa and the Islands in 20 minutes, Cannobio, Cannero and Switzerland in 35 minutes). For golf lovers (Golf Club Premeno 15 minutes away) and the cool climate of the lake. The space The house is an old family villa that we only use on rare occasions during the holidays to get together. I provide the entire house, which is very spacious and comfortable, suitable for large families or groups of friends looking to relax. The house is not modern but very charming due to its location and its somewhat retro style. Guest access Guests will have access to the two-story house, a large garden, and a fenced and secure parking space. Other things to note I’d like to give you some useful details for your stay in our home. It’s a very special place, all in an antique style, so it needs to be treated with a bit of care, from the windows to the floors. We wanted to preserve the atmosphere our grandparents created when they renovated the house, to maintain its original charm. The kitchen, on the other hand, is modern and equipped with all the appliances you need to make your stay comfortable and convenient. A nice vintage touch is the old American refrigerator, which we hope to restore soon to bring it back to its original condition. You’ll find everything you need for your stay in the house, but if you notice anything missing or need anything, please excuse any oversights and let us know right away. We’ll be happy to help, and if necessary, we can resolve any issues by contacting our local helpers. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible and for your stay to be pleasant and worry-free! A helpful tip: at the entrance, immediately to the left, you’ll find the main light switches. If the power happens to go out due to a storm or a power surge, you’ll know right away where to go to turn it back on. Hopefully you won’t need it! The fireplaces in the kitchen and living room no longer meet safety standards and therefore cannot be used, but don’t worry: we’ve provided space heaters to warm the rooms during your stay. Keep in mind that, even with a 6kW contract (the maximum allowed in Italy), the power can sometimes go out, especially if you turn on the space heaters along with the dishwasher and kettle. If that happens, just turn off a few electric fans and flip the circuit breakers at the entrance, and everything will be back to normal. Oh, and the laundry room is located in the garden, so you can easily access it whenever you need to.
