Welcome to the Blue Sky Suite, 1 block from the UW campus and 4 blocks to the stadium. The suite contains a full bathroom, well-furnished kitchenette with full-sized refrigerator, coffee bar, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, breakfast options, & coffee bar. Enjoy the spacious bedroom/ living area. Laundry available by request. You'll be very comfortable in this light-filled downstairs space. Best for: adult travelers. Guests under 25: send Inquiry before booking. House rules: firm. The space The Blue Sky Suite is a separate downstairs unit with its own keyless entrance. The stairs are equipped with non-slip treads and a newly-installed handrail, but be aware that you must be able to climb a full set of stairs to stay in the Blue Sky Suite. The host lives upstairs and works during the day. This is a scent-free, smoke-free, no-party zone with quiet hours between 9pm and 6am. Kitties live upstairs but do not go into the suite downstairs. Laundry room is available upon request; please use unscented laundry products provided. You'll be across the street from the famous 17th Street Cafe (best breakfasts in town), as well as O'Dwyers restaurant and pub, and 1 block from Niko Sushi. Walk to campus in less than five minutes. If you need something the host hasn't thought of, just ask. The host is available via text except while in class (she is a university professor). PLEASE NOTE: This house is 100 years old. Sound carries. Quiet hours are 9pm--6am. Absolutely no parties. Questions? Contact me! Guest access You'll have separate entrance with a keypad for self-check-in. The suite is located in the basement, and you'll walk through the laundry room to get to your door. The suite is your own private space. There is an unfinished storage room just off your bedroom area. It contains a queen-sized bed. This room is not part of the listing, but if you have more than 2 guests and need another bed, you may request use of this room when booking. The room is unheated and is best used only during the warm months. Ask me if you have any questions. Other things to note Guests under 25 must send an Inquiry, introduce themselves and the reason for their visit, agree to all house rules, and request to book. Unfortunately, several recent college-aged guests looking for a place to party have disregarded the rules and trashed the place, hence this requirement.
