One of the first-floor bedrooms also opens up to a large terrace with staircase leading to the courtyard. The courtyard is beautifully equipped with an exterior lounge and 2 dining areas; one by the BBQ, the second nearer the garden. It also comes with a plunge pool as of 2026, a hammock, a swing seat, and a porch swing bed for your comfort and enjoyment. Parking is both within the property and just outside. The plunge pool will be located in the transformed wine press visible on photos nr 6 and 10. Villa Tzivaeri is located in the heart of the village, just 120-300 meters to 3 local tavernas serving tasty Cretan food. The village also has 2 minimarkets, a bakery, a pharmacy, and a Greek Gyros place, all within walking distance. The beautiful beaches of Loutraki and Marathi with their crystal-clear waters are just a 5-minute drive away. Both of these shallow, sandy beaches are well-protected from the prevailing northerly winds during the summer months. Loutraki and Marathi also offer several very good tavernas. Daniele August 2017 Daniele The villa is located in a little and quiet village called Sternes, very close to the airport, to the beautiful city of Chania and close by car to the marvelous beaches of Marathi (10 min by car) and Stavros (15 min by car). You will find a close supermarket, a bakery and two little tavernas. The villa is a splendid place with a great and shadowy garden with lemon, orange and pomegranates trees, where you can eat, make a barbeque, and relax. The indoor and all the villa is perfectly and stylish furnished and equipped: you will find everything you need!! We were two Italian families with 4 children and we stayed at the Villa for 10 days at the end of July 2017: the villa was also perfect for the kids because they had such a great outdoor space to play freely. The owners, Giorgos and Maria are perfect hosts: they were friendly, always helpful, and available all the time: we realy felt like being at home!
