Our cottage is 25 min. from Huntsville, the gateway to Algonquin park. Many popular golf courses nearby. Skating and x-country skiing in the woods at Arrowhead park is 25 minutes away. You will enjoy great views, the beach, restaurants, dining, and family-friendly activities. You will find solitude in this peaceful setting. A perfect get-away for couples, families, big groups, and furry friends. The firepit at the lakeside is the perfect time to enjoy the black night sky with its hosts of stars! The space Our space is warm and inviting as the fire burns strong in the woodstove in the main open living space. The kitchen is fully equipped to handle large crowds with a full size fridge, lots of counter space and a walk-in pantry. New kitchen cabinets, counters and sink have been recently installed. Games room in the lower level with a second sitting area. We have owned this cottage. There are beautiful hiking trails through the woods in the village of Sprucedale. Guest access You have use of the 3 levels of this cottage and a small bunkie for your extra guests. Dock, decks and fire pit. Located on a dead end road makes it safe for peaceful walks along the edge of the forests. Sprucedale village is 8 minute drive and has extensive marked walking trails, convenience store with groceries, LCBO, beer, propane and fuel. Other things to note We supply wood for the fire pit or the woodstove indoors. Free unlimited WIFI.We offer a fishing boat for rent at reasonable rates, all boat equipment included. 60$/day-two day minimum. 300 for the week.
