Ohana House, St. Peter at Sea

Our holiday home was built in 2020 and is located in the middle of a pine grove on a hill. The beach is 300 metres away on foot. From our roof terrace you can see the sea, the castle of Castelsardo in the background and enjoy the sunsets with a glass of wine. The house has a garden with 100 square metres of lawn and an outdoor shower, and we also have a 1800 square metre plot of land overgrown with maquis. The house is 55 square metres + roof terrace and 31 square metres of covered terrace. It has a living-dining room with fitted kitchen with all the trimmings, 1 bedroom for adults and a bedroom with 2 single beds, as well as a bathroom with shower and washing machine. It is lovingly and modernly furnished. Shutters on the windows and doors and air conditioning ensure a restful night's sleep. The covered terrace with dining table and sofa/armchair area rounds off this beautiful holiday home. The location is magical; as a corner property, we have a clear view of the pine forest. The beach is never crowded and beautiful, you can snorkel, SUP, windsurf and of course swim and take long walks. From May to the end of September, the Kurumba Beach Bar offers ice cream, snacks and delicious fish dishes. We often take a short walk along the promenade to the pizzeria, where you have to book in advance in summer, as the Italian families come late to eat but in large numbers! Numerous agriturismos offer Sardinian menus and in the small and lively town of Valledoria (4km from our house. In the village center you will find various restaurants, shops and a weekly market. A perfect place for a cappuccino is the kiosk of La Foce, located directly on the river Coghinas. There you can also book birdwatching tours and hire canoes and kayaks. Excursions to Castelsardo, to Playa Paradiso, to the AquaPark in Isola Rossa, to the towns of Alghero and Sassari, to Capo Testa and to the Asinara peninsula are perfectly possible from our house location. Sailing, surfing, windsurfing to horse riding or golf - all active sports can be practised nearby.
