Welcome to Groton Long Point, the best beach community in New England! This beautifully appointed home is perfect year round for a short weekend getaway or a relaxing extended stay by the sea. Ideally located steps from South beach, tennis courts, and all of GLP's amenities, this spacious 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home offers water views, fantastic outdoor space, and access to excellent amenities that will make this your best vacation ever. The space For your stay you will be welcomed into one of the original Groton Long Point homes that has been completely updated with central air conditioning for your comfort and includes everything you will need to enjoy a great vacation. Two bedrooms have queen size beds, the third bedroom has two bunk beds and a queen size day bed. Outdoor deck includes gas grill and seating for Al Fresco dining. Guest access For guests who like to keep busy, adults will be entertained by an array of activities offered through the Groton Long Point Yacht Club including wine tastings, cocktail parties, tennis tournaments, pickleball, fireworks and beach concerts. Excellent dining and shopping are just minutes away in Historic Downtown Mystic and Noank, while proximity to Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods casinos are ideal for those craving nightlife. If you would like a little culture, stop by the Mystic Seaport or visit one of the many festivals in Mystic throughout the year including the Taste of Mystic, The Mystic Art Festival, Friday night Dancing by the River, the Christmas Stroll, Boat Parades, and many more. Prefer something a little more laid back? Take a book to the beach and just relax, bring your fishing pole to one of the piers, or take a short 25 minute kayak ride to a secluded island in Long Island Sound where you can spend a lovely sunny afternoon all by yourselves. Families visiting with children can enroll in activities offered through the yacht club that will have them asking to come back next year-- including swimming lessons, sailing lessons, tennis lessons, sports, art, drama, and many more. When they aren't riding their bicycles between classes, they can spend sunny afternoons crabbing off one of the many Groton Long Point docks, playing "matchstick" at the beach or running around on the playground. Evening activities are equally exciting for the kids with sand castle contests, “kiddy dances”, movie nights, game nights, costume parades and ice cream socials throughout the summer.
