Nestled in an artist and industrial enclave in Oakland, CA, "Jingletown" or as we like to call it, the "Oakland Riviera". Blocks from HWY 880, public transportation (Bus, BART). This is an urban area next to the Oakland/Alameda estuary and feels like a world of its own. It's quiet during the day and get a bit festive some nights including fireworks, sounds from the nearby Oakland A's stadium and upon occasion a train. There are only 6 units in this HOA so it's NOT a late-night party spot. The space As you enter through the gorgeous bamboo courtyard, you can turn to your left to go into the multi-use/garage with polished floors. This space is set up as a small office/bedroom space with a double murphy bed. It has its own door out to the courtyard for a private entrance. If you would like to park your car here, just put the bed in its casing and drive right in. In the hallway, you'll find a full bathroom with a shower and a washer and dryer. There's storage space under the staircase. Upstairs, you will find yourself in a beautiful open-plan space with the living room, dining area, and kitchen in addition to two built-in workspaces blasted by the light of the vaulted ceiling windows and skylight. Just off the living area is a quaint patio overlooking the serene bamboo courtyard. On the top floor, you'll be in the main bedroom which is outfitted with a queen bed, a very large walk-in closet, a full bathroom with a tub, and a vanity/sink area just outside the bathroom. The space is decorated in a modern boho style with hand-selected items and art by the owner, who lives in the neighborhood. The neighbors are artists, engineers, and interior designers and are friendly and helpful. Families and kids are welcome. Pets are welcome too but please leave your dangerous breed animals home. There are young children in this HOA. Guest access You will have full access to the entire space as well as the courtyard. Other things to note Stay where Raiders Football star Latavius Murray lived while playing in the bay area!
