The Cucumber Gulch trails, which includes cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, hiking and mountain biking in the summer, are just outside the back door. The Lodge is a few steps away from the Breckenridge Nordic Center which has 50 km of trails to explore! Exit at the Breckenridge Freeride Park sign just after the large American flag. Ski down Grandview Drive 3 blocks to the Lodge at Ski Hill Road and the Nordic Center. Best with fresh snow or rental skis. Please note that like most homes in Breckenridge, we do not have A/C. Please note that the tub is serviced between guests. Sometimes the tub is just chemically treated but sometimes it has to be drained and refilled. Because of this, please note that the tub may be cold on your arrival and may not be hot on the first night of your stay. As such, if you wish to use it, please ensure you turn it on and turn up the temperature when you arrive. Be sure to keep the cover closed at all times when the tub is not in use! 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.
