The Paddock at 1208 - Simplicity, Style & Comfort

The Paddock at 1208 is a house that was built in the 1920's. Former owner was a pharmacist and racing horse trainer hence the name and decor. There is a sister house across the street, The Choisser Burnett House which sleeps six and is also on Airbnb.com. Twenty minutes minutes south is the  Shawnee National Forest whose terrain spans woodlands, hills and lakes and it's wildlife includes bald eagles. The space Innkeepers David and Trina Bartok invite you to uncover the charm and comfort of The Paddock at 1208. More than just a place to sleep, with all the special touches, it is guaranteed that you will make memories that will last a lifetime. All rooms are located on one floor. The kitchen is nicely stocked and includes a coffee bar. There are two full bathrooms, comfortable front porch for relaxing and a washer and dryer is available. Other things to note When you make reservations at The Paddock at 1208, you are reserving the whole house ( sleeps up to 8 guests) and only you will have access. There are 4 beds ( 1 queen, 1 full, 2 twin and 1 air mattress). $119.00 for two guests with a $35.00 charge per each additional guest.
