Come and discover the Capetian royal fortresses of Languedoc, starting from our magnificent architect-designed villa, air-conditioned, with a swimming pool, nestled under the Château de Peyrepertuse, one of the 8 castles listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in July 2026. Magnificent panoramic views of the two valleys and the Quéribus and Peyrepertuse castles. 160 m2, very nice spaces and bright, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a heated swimming pool from June to September, and a Mediterranean garden. The space The "house of the two castles" can accommodate from 8 to 9 people. It is located in a small subdivision consisting of only one street, in the village of Duilhac under Peyrepertuse. It is a great house to be rented to two families with children, as everyone can have their own part, and also gather around the main kitchen and its large living room. The house is completely integrated into the landscape, with its wooden facade, vertically openwork and very large floor-to-ceiling windows. The interior spaces have beautiful volumes and are architectural in order to make the most of the beautiful views. Some windows frame the landscape of the scrubland and valley like paintings. This is a passive house with a natural ventilation system through windows installed at height. Air conditioning, if necessary . It is on a single level that you can access by stairs. The fenced swimming pool (7 m x 3.3 m) is heated during the high season (generally June–September). The garden is a little on the heights, with small landscaped corners and very nice views of the valleys. It is wild, scrubland and green oak type with rocks. The house is equipped with WiFi. Parking for three cars. In summer, the Gorges du Verdouble and its waterfalls invite you to swim in a natural place of beauty. Nearby, you can visit the Citadelles du Vertige, the Château de Peyrepertuse, the Château de Quéribus, the Château d'Aguilar, the Château de Puylaurens, the Château de Termes (5 chateaux that are part of the group of 8 Capetian royal fortresses of Languedoc listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and the Gorges de Galamus and its hermitage. A little further, the medieval Abbey of Lagrasse and the Abbey of Fontfroide, the village of Rennes-le Château. 1 hour from the Mediterranean Sea and 1 hour 15 minutes from Spain.
