The ordinance applies to all places of business, public and private property, and other areas in the city. No person shall cause, suffer, allow, or permit any unreasonable noise that is audible beyond the boundaries of their property without the express written consent of the owner or occupier of the affected properties. Noise is defined as any sound which is audible beyond the boundaries of the property producing the sound. Unreasonable noise is defined as any sound that is loud, raucous, jarring, or shrill enough to disturb the peace and quiet of any person or persons in the vicinity. The following activities are prohibited: -Loud music, including amplified musical instruments, musical instruments, radios, televisions, or other sound equipment. -Loud and unnecessary vehicle noises, such as loud engine revving, honking of horns, loud exhaust systems, and screeching tires. -Loud shouting, yelling, or screaming. -The use of loudspeakers or other sound equipment for commercial advertising.
