Vulandra: typical Ferrara house 50 meters from the cathedral

We called our house Vulandra because in the Ferrara dialect it means aquilone. In fact, we think it's a typical and colorful house. The terracotta floor and wooden beams on the ceiling are the two main features of the Ferrara house. Fully equipped kitchen, balcony with plants and flowers for aperitifs, living room with fireplace, armchairs, art books and turntables, and finally a huge bedroom with 4 total seats. All within a 1 minute walking distance from the cathedral. The space We are located in the heart of the historic center on the shopping street (Via Mazzini). Despite this, the house is quiet because it overlooks the inner courtyard and not the street. The house is large 125 square meters and guests will have the entire property at their disposal. There are fans and air conditioning for the summer and radiators for the winter. From the bedroom window you have the view of the urban panorama of Ferrara (a horizon made of rooftops and colorful houses). Guests can use an infant toddler bed for free. Also upon request, guests can request a personalized breakfast (we produce traditional homemade cakes, donuts, and homemade cookies). Breakfast is not included in the price of the reservation (we can arrange it by phone before check-in). Guest access We installed a lock box with numeric code in the external door to store the house keys. The entire apartment is available for guests (125 square meters in the historic center). There is a large living room with kitchen, a terrace, a bathroom and a huge bedroom (sleeps 4 total). The bedroom is located on the upper floor, reachable by staircase. The bedroom has a lot of usable space as a second living room, relaxation area and play space for children. The floor is made of wood here and the ceiling has the typical exposed wooden beams. There's air conditioning. Other things to note Each guest must pay on arrival €1.50 tourist tax of the Municipality of Ferrara (each person for each night of stay). Tourist tax is not included in the price of the Airbnb reservation. During check-in, it is also required for Host of Ferrara to verify guest IDs.
