Vulandra: typical Ferrara house 50 meters from the cathedral

We called our house Vulandra because in the Ferrara dialect it means kite. In fact, we think it is a typical and colorful house. The terracotta floor and the wooden beams on the ceiling are the two main features of the Ferrara house. Fully equipped kitchen, balcony with plants and flowers for aperitifs, living room with fireplace, armchairs, art books and turntables, and finally a huge bedroom with 4 places in total. All within a 1-minute walk of the cathedral. The space We are located in the historic center on the shopping street (Via Mazzini). Despite this, the house is quiet because it overlooks the internal courtyard and not the street. The house is 125 square meters in size and guests will have the entire property at their disposal. There are fans and air conditioning for the summer and radiators for the winter. From the bedroom window you have a view of the urban landscape of Ferrara (a horizon made of roofs and colorful houses). Guests, upon request in advance, can use a crib for free. Also upon request, guests can request a personalized breakfast (we produce handmade cakes, donuts and traditional homemade cookies). Breakfast is not included in the booking price (we can arrange by phone before check-in). Guest access We have installed a lockbox with a numerical code in the external door to store the house keys. The entire apartment is available for guests' use (125 square meters in the historic center). There is a large living room with a kitchen, a terrace, a bathroom, and a huge bedroom (4 beds in total). The bedroom is on the upper floor, accessible by stairs. The bedroom has a lot of space that can be used as a second living room, relaxation area, and children's play area. The floor is here in wood and the ceiling has the typical exposed wooden beams. There is air conditioning. Other things to note Each guest must pay €1.50 of tourist tax of the Municipality of Ferrara upon arrival (each person for each night of stay). The tourist tax is not included in the price of the Airbnb reservation. During check-in, it is also mandatory for Ferrara Hosts to verify guests' IDs.
