You're more than welcome to explore and enjoy every part of the home — from the cozy indoor spaces to the outdoor areas. Whether you're relaxing inside, enjoying the backyard, or taking in the surroundings, we want you to feel completely at ease. This space is yours to enjoy, so settle in, explore, and make the most of your time here! Other things to note 🏡 House Rules – Please Read Before Booking We’re so excited to host you and want to make sure your stay is relaxing, comfortable, and enjoyable — both for you and our community. Here are a few important (but simple!) house rules to keep in mind: 🌙 Quiet Hours – 10:00 PM Outdoors You're more than welcome to enjoy the outdoor space in the evenings, but please keep things quiet after 10:00 PM. Sound travels easily due to the hill behind the home, so even regular conversation can carry farther than expected. Let’s keep things peaceful for everyone. 🤝 Respect for the Community While our neighbors may feel far away, being respectful of the local community is very important to us. Please be mindful during your stay and help us maintain the calm, relaxed atmosphere that makes this place so special. 🗑️ Trash & Recycling Each booking includes disposal for one large black bag of garbage and one large bag of recycling. If you end up with more than that, we kindly ask that you take it with you. Otherwise, an extra $35 per bag will be deducted from the damage deposit to cover removal. 👥 Guest Count If your reservation is for 8 guests, we ask that only 8 guests stay overnight. Visitors are welcome during the day, but please let us know in advance if anyone will be stopping by. A quick message goes a long way! 💍 Planning a Small Wedding or Event? We love hosting intimate weddings and small celebrations — but it’s essential that you notify us before booking if you’re planning any type of event or gathering. We have strict limits on group size, and while we don’t monitor our exterior cameras, we do receive motion alerts. Not being transparent puts our insurance and community reputation at risk, and may result in your group being asked to leave without a refund. Let’s avoid that! We’re happy to help you plan a beautiful, low-key event — as long as it stays within our boundaries. Things to Note 💧 – Water Source The home’s water is drawn from a clean, regularly tested well and is completely safe and potable for drinking, cooking, and bathing. That said, if you prefer the taste of bottled water or feel more comfortable using it for drinking, feel free to bring some along! 📷 – Security Cameras For safety and security, there are exterior cameras facing down the driveway. These help us keep an eye on the property’s entrance. We want to reassure you that we do not actively monitor the cameras, but we do receive motion alerts. There are no cameras inside the home or in any private outdoor areas — your privacy is fully respected during your stay.
