Located in Elkins, WV, Orchard Nook makes an excellent hub for exploring the many sights, towns, and recreational activities of Randolph, and surrounding counties, as well as offers a wonderful little place to hunker down for some much-needed rest and relaxation. Accommodations include 2bedrooms, 1 full bath, a fully-equipped kitchen (sorry, no dishwasher), W/D, off-street parking, TV/DVD, Wi-Fi. Bed and bath linens are provided. Our little, garage turned apartment, is a few blocks from D&E College, Allegheny bike trail. Big Timber Brewing is a few minutes drive as well as several local dining experiences. Orchard Nook is perfectly located to be at the center of your wild and wonderful staycation in the heart of the picturesque Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia. From Elkins to Davis, Canaan Valley and Timberline to Blackwater Falls and Seneca Rocks, come explore the great outdoors while remaining comfortably close to shopping, gas, and groceries, cell signal and Wi-Fi. If you are a traveling nurse, you are less than a mile from Davis Memorial Hospital and less than 5 miles from Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center. Guests have the entire apartment. I live mainly in Harpers Ferry about 3 hours away, so I am not in Elkins full-time. However, I am reachable by phone or messaging nearly 24/7. When I am in Elkins, which is often, I enjoy meeting my guests and getting to know a little about them. I strive to make sure guests’ needs and/or concerns are met and answered as quickly as possible. In case of emergencies or needs that may require in-person attention, should I not be able to handle them, my co-host Sue and my sister-in-law live locally. With that in mind, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or requests you may have regarding your stay. The apartment is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The best way to get around is by car. ON is situated on property with another rental home. The parking area is on the alley side of the apartment. The gravel off street parking area belongs to the two story home. Please be respectful and park only in the area off the alley.
