The West Grange and East Grange building has recently been constructed to resemble a converted old granary, and hence the name. The West and East Grange building is semi-detached double story accommodation which is perfect for small families and friends. Each unit sleeps four people in two double bedrooms, with en-suite bathrooms. They have fully equipped kitchens, dining and sitting room with wood burning stove, TV, WIFI and sound systems and are fully air-conditioned. Both come with their own private hot tub and outside barbeque areas. The Grange has magnificent views of the Riviersonderend mountains and the Nuy Valley in the distance. There is plenty to keep all generations active and happy at Penhill with dams and pools for fishing, canoeing or simply splashing about in, chickens to collect eggs in the morning, the best tennis court in the Karoo, boules, croquet, not to mention trails for gentle walks, more strenuous hikes and several fantastic mountain bike trails leading directly from the farm. With its proximity to both Robertson and Worcester, as well as some great activities in the area guests will have plenty of options to stay close-by or venture out making for a fun filled stay. Our in-house chef, Frikkie Janse Van Rensburg, is available to handle all catering needs as well as hosting guests in the Cellars restaurant. The farm has a Manor House sleeping eight and four cottages sleeping four. The houses can be booked separately, however the farm is perfectly suited for gathering large groups of loved ones for family reunions, milestone birthday celebrations, anniversary parties and the like.
