Home in Charmes-sur-l'Herbasse

Located in the Drôme, not far from the beautiful city of Valence, our 18th century historic Mas is located in the village of Charmes sur l’Herbasse. Here you will find gîte Rose, an authentic, spacious and luxurious holiday home where you can completely relax. The Drôme is situated not too high, so you can enjoy all the beautiful things the region has to offer from early spring to late fall. Walking, cycling, good food, a trip by car or motorcycle, anything is possible! The space In gîte Rose (100m2) nothing is missing. The gîte has a spacious living room with a comfortable sofa, two armchairs, a dining area, a children’s corner and a cozy wood stove. The open kitchen is equipped with all the luxury including refrigerator, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, coffee machine (Nespresso) and dishwasher. There is also a washing machine. On the ground floor you will find a bedroom with a single bed as well. On the first floor you will find the master bedroom with a double bed and access to a covered veranda with a beautiful view, a second bedroom with two single beds and the bathroom with a sink, bath/shower and toilet. A babybed can be placed on the upper floor if desired. All beds are boxspring of 2m10 long that are made on arrival. Guest access Although there is plenty to do in the area, you can also enjoy yourself at our domaine. The site is completely enclosed and therefore safe (very handy with small children). The parking lot, equipped with a car charger (fast), is located almost at the beginning of the driveway, so that the rest of the site is free of cars. The large garden (10,000m2) is entirely available to our guests and offers fun activities for the children. A private terras is situated in front of the gîte. Our own house is also located on the site and in the garden we built a Tiny house in 2021, suitable for a maximum of 2 people. From May to September we have a (set-up) swimming pool available where you can cool off. And if you really want to relax, there is the possibility to reserve our hottub. We are happy to heat it up for you, after which you can enjoy the warm water and gaze at all the stars that shine above the Drôme for hours with a nice drink in your hand. Other things to note The use of the hot tub is optional. The costs are €35 per time/day. You have the exclusive use for this. We fill the hot tub with fresh water and provide heating with the wood stove. It is necessary to book the hot tub in advance, feel free to send us a message so that you are sure that the hot tub is available for you. Smoking and pets are not allowed.
