The Forest House sits in front of a private Lake Sanksaare in between 120-year-old pine trees. The house can be heated by a wood burning stove with a beautiful glass door to enjoy the flames. The Sauna has juniper ceiling giving an amazing aroma. Washing is done in the old-school method with a bowl of warm water and mug to shower oneself. There is plenty of dry firewood on the premise all included in the booking price. The lights lead to a romantic outdoor toilet cabin 15m from the house. The space The house needs to be heated with a wood burning stove. Upon your arrival a basket with dry firewood, paper and matches await you in the house so you can get the fire going as a first thing. In just an hour the house gets warm and after that you can continue at a lower flame for another hour. Cooking can be done both on the wood burning stove and a gas stove. Fresh water comes from the tap that is perfect to drink from and cook with. Pots, pan, plates, bowls, serving dishes, cutlery, salt, sugar, pepper, oil and other basic kitchen utensils can all be found in the kitchen cabinets. There's a comfy sleeping pad that is 160 cm wide. Together with sofa bed the cabin fits up to 4 people. The beds are made. A sauna towel awaits each guest. We recommend to bring your own crocs or flip-flops to walk between the sauna and house. Guest access The premises are private to the guests as Forest House is the only house around the whole lake. Sauna is also private meaning you can enjoy it when you wish during your stay. Other things to note Tiny House is off-grid meaning that it's not part of the electric grid. The house has a battery bank which is charged by solar panels. A gasoline generator is connected as a backup and can easily be turned on for 2 hours if the battery runs low during a cloudy day or when the sun is not out.
