The space The suite occupies the entire ground-floor annexe of our private home - a self-contained space with its own side entrance and keypad access, so you come and go entirely on your own terms. Inside, it's been designed with real care. Original dark wood floors run throughout. A dramatic peacock-print feature wall sets the tone, bold but warm, the kind of thing you'd find in a boutique country hotel. The superking bed has a tall upholstered headboard and is dressed in quality white linen. A vintage French armchair sits beside a glowing floor lamp for quiet evenings. The leather-topped writing desk is proper, not a token gesture and guests working remotely tell us they get more done here than they expected. The en-suite has a private shower room, fully equipped with towels and essentials. A hospitality tray with tea, coffee and biscuits is ready on arrival. What guests most often mention: how quiet it is. The village sits in open South Cambridgeshire countryside and at night it's genuinely still - no traffic, no noise, just birdsong in the morning. Guest access The suite has its own private entrance on the left side of the main house, reached through a short side passage. Full arrival details and access instructions are sent ahead of your stay, so check-in is simple and flexible at any time. Once inside, the entire suite is yours: bedroom, sitting area, en-suite shower room, and workspace. There is no shared space with the main house. Parking is on the quiet village road directly at the front of the property, easy to find a spot. There is also a private driveway space available if needed. Other things to note The bed is made up as a superking by default, if you'd prefer twin beds or need to accommodate a third guest, just let us know in advance and we'll have it ready. A single pull-out bed sits neatly under the main bed for a third guest when needed. The suite is better equipped than most. There's a large-screen TV with DVD player and a selection of films, a collection of books and games for evenings in, and a wardrobe with extra bedding. For those wanting flexibility around meals, there's a microwave, mini-fridge, and a full set of cutlery, bowls and plates - ideal for longer stays or if you simply want breakfast at your own pace. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided and replenished. The village is genuinely quiet, dark skies, birdsong in the morning, and little through traffic. Guests regularly tell us it's the best sleep they've had in months.
