Thoughtfully handcrafted using natural materials and built with great care, Lakehouse II celebrates simplicity, craftsmanship, and a deep connection with nature. Spanning two floors (70 m²), the lakehouse comfortably accommodates up to four guests, making it ideal for families, couples, or friends travelling together. Upstairs, you'll find a bright, open-concept living area and fully equipped kitchen that open onto a spacious terrace overlooking the lake. With outdoor dining and peaceful views across the water, it's the perfect place to relax from sunrise to sunset. Downstairs, you'll find two beautifully appointed bedrooms, both with stunning lake views and direct access to a private terrace overlooking the water, creating a peaceful place to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind with a book. Enjoy exclusive use of the entire lakehouse and its private terraces. Just a few steps away, the pristine lake invites you to swim, paddle, or simply relax while surrounded by nature. Pure mountain water flows directly from every tap, providing exceptionally fresh, clean drinking water throughout your stay. Additional private spa sessions may be reserved during your stay for €45, subject to availability. Our wood-fired hot tub is filled with fresh water, free from chlorine and harsh chemicals, and lightly scented with natural essential oils, creating a peaceful eco-luxury wellness experience beneath the stars. As both the sauna and hot tub require approximately 2–4 hours to heat, we kindly ask that you reserve your preferred spa session in advance so everything is ready for your arrival. Whether you're seeking a romantic escape, a wellness retreat, or simply time to reconnect with nature, Lakehouse II offers an unforgettable stay in one of the most peaceful corners of southern France. Guest access During your stay, you'll have exclusive use of your entire Lakehouse, including all indoor and outdoor living spaces and private terraces. The lake, canoes, paddleboards, and Nature Spa are shared amenities for all guests staying at Alauzet Nature Spa & Lodge. Your stay includes one complimentary private spa session, where you can choose between our wood-fired sauna or wood-fired hot tub. During your reserved session, the spa is exclusively yours to enjoy. Additional private spa sessions are available for €45 per session, subject to availability. Other things to note Disconnect to Reconnect: Alauzet was created as a place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy meaningful moments away from the distractions of everyday life. For this reason, our Lakehouses do not have Wi-Fi or televisions. Many of our guests tell us they sleep better, feel more relaxed, and leave feeling truly recharged. If you need to check emails or connect with the outside world, complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the bar, just a short 100-metre walk from your Lakehouse. Living in Nature: Alauzet is located within a protected Natura 2000 nature reserve, surrounded by forests, wildlife, and an exceptionally rich ecosystem. The surrounding landscape is home to more than 150 species of birds and over 50 species of butterflies, along with dragonflies, frogs, and an abundance of native wildlife.
