Description
The Chaff House is a four-star holiday apartment, suitable for up to four guests. The property is configured on ground floor only, providing easy access. We have sympathetically restored what was a former 19th Century oast house to provide homely accommodation. The property provides a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with family bathroom. There is a kitchen that is fully equipped with everything you'd need, a breakfast bar, and a lounge area. The space - Barn conversion with shared garden and patio area. - The property is on our family farm - we have 135 acres. You are welcome to immerse yourselves in our farm and we have a dedicated walk through the fields. You will see cows, sheep and chickens. We live on site and can answer any questions you have about farming life! Please ask Sally about walks on arrival. - The Chaff House sleeps 4 (one double room and one twin room). - Family bathroom with shower and toilet. - Parking outside of the property. Please let us know if you have more than 2 cars (space can be provided). - Communal EV charger available (Zappi EV Charger 7kw Tethered Black). Please bring your own cable. Supplement charge is required. - Lawned garden. Rear patio area with table, chairs and BBQ. The area is secure if you are bringing a dog. - Dogs welcome - we charge £25 per dog per stay. Payable upon arrival or we can add this payment via Airbnb. - All bed linen and towels provided. - Central heating. - Fibre broadband / Wi-Fi is provided. The internet speed is suitable if you need to work from the property. - Smart TV in the living room (Netflix compatible). Selection of DVDs & games. - Hairdryer - Nespresso coffee machine (takes original Nespresso pods). - Fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, oven, hob, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner, iron, ironing board. Shared freezer and laundry facilities at the rear of the property. - Crockery and cutlery. - Kitchen utensils and saucepans provided. - Gas BBQ with gas supplied. - Kitchen basics provided - salt/pepper, teabags, sugar, fresh milk. - Cleaning products provided - washing up liquid, bin bags, dishwasher tablets, dishcloths. - Bathroom products provided: toilet paper and hand soap - Cot, highchair and stair gate available. Guest access Outside, there is a secure garden with car parking. We have a flag-stoned patio with dining area and barbecue for you to enjoy on warmer days. The property is on a 135-acre working farm. You are welcome to walk around the grounds and enjoy the surrounding countryside (please ask Sally on arrival for best walking routes). We have cows, sheep and horses on the farm, very popular with children! Dogs are welcome. There is a charge of £25 per dog per stay. Other things to note Bed linen and towels are provided. A high chair and cot can be provided if needed.
