La Maison de l'Escargot – Blue Room

Ideally located on the heights of the village of Seigny, La Maison de l'Escargot is located 8 km from Montbard (TGV station) and 4 km from Venarey les Laumes-Alésia (TER station) in the old presbytery of the village. The House offers a magnificent view of the Grignon hill, the Brenne River and the Burgundy Canal. Whether you are passing through or are regulars of our beautiful Côte d'Or, this is the ideal place to visit many sites. The space You will be welcomed in this beautiful house of character where the floor is reserved for you. You have two rooms to choose from: - The Peony Room, equipped with a double bed (140 x 190) and a sofa bed type BZ (very good bed) reserved for 1 adult or 2 children. If using the sofa bed, extra cost of €10 per night. - The Blue Room, equipped with a double bed (140 x 190) and a single bed (90 x 190). If using the extra single bed, extra cost of €10 per night. Also upstairs, the "Gauloise" bathroom with a 120x80 shower and separate toilet. The whole is to be shared when the two bedrooms are booked separately. We also offer you access to a large living room with Wi-Fi access. Books, board games, and a large-screen TV are available. In this living room with panoramic views of the countryside, you can enjoy the "homemade" breakfast served from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Breakfast to be confirmed when you book (additional cost). Various baby items can be provided free of charge upon request (baby bed, bathtub, highchair, early learning games). If you wish, we can prepare a board of local products for you on the evening of your arrival (additional cost), so don't hesitate to contact us. Note: access to the large living room in the morning is exclusively reserved for breakfast service. For the well-being of all, we would be grateful if you would respect the environment that is offered to you. Guest access The floor with the 2 bedrooms, the bathroom and the toilet shared between the guests as well as the large living room. During your stay We will be there to welcome you, advise you and share pleasant moments. Other things to note Check-in from 6 p.m. and check-out no later than 10:30 a.m. The Maison de l'Escargot is an entirely non-smoking space.
