Hopefully this will tempt you to take that long weekend in York after all :-) Available Extras ***Parking*** Parking is available at a cost of £8.40 per day. Each permit is valid until 10am the next day which coincides with check-out time. If you're planning on exploring York the next day and wish to leave your car parked, you will need 2 permits to cover the 2 days, otherwise a single permit should cover you fine assuming you depart by 10am. Please let us know if you will require parking when booking and we will send you a special offer price that includes it. ***Extended Checkout*** Standard checkout time is 10am. If you fancy a snooze, for £6 extra you can elect to have an extended checkout time of 1pm. Please note the following Caveats: We are not a hotel but rather a guest house. We recognise that our room photos look like we are a hotel, but we are located in a terraced property in a quiet residential street which is 15 mins walk from town. On the outside - it looks like an unassuming, modest property. But, a bit like Alice in Wonderland, once you get through the front door: everything changes. Our internal refurbishment of the residence aims to provide rooms that delight. Our value proposition is to offer 'hotel' grade rooms at 'guesthouse' pricing. Breakfast Our room rates exclude breakfast, there are however many nearby coffee shops and eateries that do delicious breakfast within a 10 minute walk. We provide shampoo , shower gel and conditioner and towels but not a hotel so we do not provide slippers. Also there is no high view or good view as it is a room in a small house. As a guesthouse, we are unable to provide specific setups for romantic events or special occasions. We aim to ensure all guests have a comfortable and welcoming stay, but we do not offer additional decorations or arrangements. Guest access Guests will be given their own keycard & may access their private bedroom & bathroom via the front door of the house 24hrs as they please. Unfortunately the rest of the house is being renovated and is not accessible. Other things to note * From time to time, the house may also be used to host other AirBnB guests in our other spare room. All rooms come with their own key for privacy and security. Please don't hesitate to ask if there's anything else you'd like to know.
