We keep in our house plants like Snake Plant, Aloe vera, Lavandula because they are providing fresh air, and are the best air-filtering plants according to NASA research.The Snake Plant (Sansevieria trifasciata-mother-in-law's tongue) is unique in that it sucks in carbon dioxide and releases oxygen during the night (read NASA report).
