Beachside Cabin with view of Mount Pataua and Surf bar

Pataua South is a special place all year round. In the peaceful winter months, there are a wide variety of fantastic beach walks or walking tracks at Whangarei Heads. If you are fit you can climb 420 metre Mount Manaia, blanketed by native bush. After your walk, you can enjoy a relaxing spa looking out over the estuary and Mt Pataua. In the more active summer months, you can swim in the inlet or at Pataua North beach or family-friendly Frogtown beach. There are two kayaks which you are welcome to use. Also two push bikes. The studio cabin overlooks the entrance to the inlet and Mount Pataua, with Pataua North to the left. The cabin bathroom facilities are 20 metres away in a small building for your exclusive use. It contains a shower and toilet, and also a washing machine, There is a small covered deck on the cabin, but an extensive veranda and deck on the main house with outdoor furniture and spa which you are welcome to use. This is a shared space. The majority of the property is a shared space. Only the house and study are for the owner's use. Sitting in a spa at night looking at the stars is quite spectacular. It is an absolute waterfront; you can throw a ball into the water (at high tide that is). There is a 10-second walk to an external building that contains a shower and toilet for your exclusive use. There is also an outdoor shower which you are also welcome to use.
