Le Cosy

Le Cosy is located in a farmhouse in Marange, a small village of Hiersac, in the countryside, while being close to Angoulême (- 20 min.) and Cognac (25 min.). But also to: - 1h 05 from La Vallee des Singes - 1h20 of the first beaches on the Atlantic coast - 1 hour and 30 minutes from the Zoo de la Palmyre, Futuroscope or Bordeaux - 1h40 from the Aquarium of La Rochelle or the Poitevin marsh We live there in the terraced house at Le Cosy. The space Adjoining our house, Le Cosy with its independent entrance for 2/4 people with: On the ground floor, the living room includes: - Kitchen area: • refrigerator • induction plate • oven • microwave • dishwasher - Breakfast area: • SENSEO COFFEE MAKER, • kettle, • toaster - lounge area (TV, Google Chromecast, DVD player, hi-fi) with sofa bed for 2 people with mattress topper provided. - laundry room (washer-dryer and ironing equipment). Staircase upstairs: - the bedroom with its 140 par 190 bed and its small desk, storage and a shower area (in the bedroom). - Separate toilets. - in the corridor, 1 library Outdoors: - Picnic table + umbrella - Laundry lines to spread pool towels or linens in summer, in front of the Cosy, next to the pool. Services offered: ✔️ Bed linen ✔️ Towels ✔️ Towels ✔️ WiFi Things you have access to but shared with us who live on site (terraced house at Le Cosy): - From about May to September (depending on the weather - not heated if bad weather), the swimming pool (salt) is accessible at no additional cost (reminder, it is not a private pool at Le Cosy) + Chilean + sunbeds + trunk (pool toys) - The courtyard attached to the accommodation (where the picnic table is located) - The composter for food waste where the chickens will peck. - The orchard that overlooks the surrounding vineyards and fields with swing and trampoline. ✖️ Not accessible to Persons with Reduced Mobility. ✖️ Not air-conditioned (column fan in bedroom). ✖️ No shutters: blackout curtains in the bedroom and at the entrance door, slatted blinds for the kitchen window). ✖️ Maximum capacity: 4 people Late check-in possible (after 8pm) if you let us know when booking. For stays longer than 15 days, we will agree with you to have access to the Cosy every 2 weeks to offer you a change of linen and to dust (free of charge). Outdoor surveillance⚠ cameras: 1 covering the parking lot (horses and wine activity) and 1 covering the inner courtyard (wine activity) Guest access You will have access to the Cosy as well as the swimming pool (shared), the courtyard attached to the accommodation and the orchard (shared). Located in a small village, Marange, in the municipality of Hiersac, crossed by the gentle path (small hiking and cycling path) with its fields and vineyard for the production of cognac, you are close to the RN 141 (1 km) to discover Angouleme (20 minutes) or Cognac (24 minutes). In the village (on the other side of the N141) you will find shops: bakery, pharmacy, restaurant, bank, hairdresser, tobacco ... But also a large playground and tennis court. Other things to note In the Cosy, you will find a welcome book on your coffee table and baskets with tourist documentation and a QR code (to consult the brochures online) to guide you in your choice of visit and we are also at your disposal for any advice.
