PLEASE READ HOUSE RULES! An individual part of the house in the classic Jurmala style. Separate entrance. Renovation made in 2024. Walk to the station "Vaivari" 2 minutes, to the sea 10 minutes. The former summer residence of the People's Artist of Latvia Vera Baljuna, where famous theater and film celebrities met. There is also a sauna with a Russian steam room (paid), barbecue grill and bikes. Early check-in and late check-out are available (paid), as well as a luggage storage service (free). The space Apartment with an area of ​​49 sq. m., located in a historic building in a quiet part of Jurmala, 200 meters from the station "Vaivari". A walk to the sea will take 10 minutes, a trip by train to the central Jurmala - 15 minutes. During the day, trains run every half hour (ticket to Riga cost 2 EUR). The apartment is located on the ground floor and consists of a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom and hallway. The renovation of the house was made in 2023-2024. The sound proof windows are equipped with insect screens. The apartments have a separate fully equipped kitchen with an electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, toaster and coffee machine. Tea, coffee capsules, sugar, salt, vegetable oil, pasta and cereals are provided free of charge. Wifi is for free and a Sony android TV is always at your disposal (we kindly ask you to control the sound volume). The house is connected to a city water pipeline. Additional water filtration system is installed. There is no need to buy bottled water. There is also a portable air conditioner (pls see picture), fan, hairdryer, iron, washing machine and ironing board. Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited, all rooms are equipped with smoke detectors. Violation of this rule will lead to the termination of the rent agreement and to the immediate leaving of the apartment without any refund. The luggage storage service is provided free of charge. Bikes usage is paid for. Guest access You can use the barbecue grill, eat and sunbathe in the garden, provided that you do not feed the owner's dog and cat. The usage of grill and grill grate are free of charge, charcoal you can buy from the owner or bring your own. The grill grate must be washed after use. A sauna with a Russian steam room is provided from 8.00 till 22.00 for 10 EUR per 1 guest per 1 visit, provided that the guests themselves will set it up and clean afterwards. Firewood and brooms can be brought with you, or purchased from the owner. If cleaning has to be done by the owner, the service will be paid. Please write to the owner to get a detailed price list of all services. Other things to note 1. The booking for 1 night is possible using the rate for 4 persons. If booking for 1 night is made for 1 or 2 or 3 persons additional payment is required at arrival. 2. The booking for 1 person using a standard rate is possible for 3 nights, only with owner's linen and towels and only on working days. Starting the 4-th night and for all non-working days and holidays additional payment is required (rate for 2 persons is used). 3. Bed linen and towels are provided for a fee of 25 euros, regardless of the number of guests. Guests can bring their own linen and towels (except for reservations for 1 person, please see paragraph 9 of the house rules). 4. Noise and loud music are prohibited in the apartments at any time. The owners observe silence from 23.00 to 7.00 and expect the same from the guests. 5. The apartments are not suitable for children under 5 years old.
