My traditional maisonette is located only 30 meters from the sea and 3 minutes walk from the sandy beach. It is in the heart of the most traditional part of the village. It is a two-level renovated stone villa 80 m2 fully equiped. It has a close yard 20 m2 and a balcony 30 m2. Post office, bakery, car rental office, supermarkets, coiffure, restaurants are in 30 meters, pharmacy, bank 200 meters. . There is a free parking area and good bus link Chania, Rethimno, Heraklion The space As a traveler, when I choose a place for holidays, my choice is based on 1) location, 2) ambience and local flavor, 3) amenities, 4) value for money. For all the above reasons, our traditional villa is one really ideal choice! 1) Location; we are only 30 meters from the sea and very close in everything that you may need as a tourist. In other words, you do not need to spend money to hire a car, so you save money and time. However, if you want to rent a car for visiting other places, a rental car is only 20 meters away from our traditional villa. Also, the bus stop is only 100 meters away. 2) Ambience and Local Flavor; the house was built at the end of the 18th century. Then, all the houses were made by stones and wood. Also, one was next to the other and they communicated in order for the people living inside to be protected from pirates’ invasions. There were secret exits leading up to the hill, which is above to our traditional villa. One of these secret doors, made by stone, is still saved in our yard, witnesses the history of the neighborhood! 3) Amenities; our villa is a 80 m2 comfortable stone maisonette, really spacious compared to hotel rooms and apartments. It offers all the facilities of a modern house. Very good internet connection (24mbps), in case you need to work on your pc. Also, the kitchen is brand new and fully equipped, offering the opportunity to cook for lunch or dinner, so saving money instead of eating in a restaurant. Satellite television is provided with many choices for movies and kids channels. 4) For all the above mentioned reasons, our traditional villa is one absolute value for money choice for your holiday stay! Other things to note IMPORTANT NOTICE In 2024 a new tax has been voted in Greece. Every reservation had to pay a sustainability tax for the Greek government. So every night costs 15 euros more.
