Welcome to Whaka Heights.

The property is situated on the lower Port Hills. Walks on the hills are close by, also around the Heathcote River which is very scenic. Host provides mountain bikes if you wish to bike around the area. I am very happy to meet you personally and show you your space. Entrance is through main front door of house, and you have your own room key. I am very pleased to give you any information you might need. This area is also the gateway to Banks Peninsula, by driving over the top main road. The space Great location. Quiet street. View over the city. Access to hill walks, outskirts of Christchurch easy to reach. May even hear and see native woodpigeons and bellbirds. Sunny location. Spacious garden. Walk down road to local hotel The Brickworks, (excellent choices and value meals) and other small shops (dairy, liquor, bakery). Nearby bus service to central city and suburbs. Christchurch is on our doorstep but you feel further away. Guest access Guests effectively have use of the downstairs of the house. Residents live upstairs. Plenty of off road parking space. Can enter b n b area from front door or patio area. Guests welcome to sit outdoors, walk around the garden. During your stay I will provide a continental breakfast which will be left on table and in fridge of sitting/dining room the night before. Please let me know any dietary preferences or particular favourite breakfast foods. I am happy for you to contact me on my cell phone or ask me questions if I am at home. I consider having a single visitor at $85.00 per night. Other things to note Guests can enjoy/indulge in the many features of Christchurch City while staying in a peaceful setting with large native tree area in valley opposite the driveway, a variety of native plantings and edibles in the garden. Great views over the city from section and from many possible walkways on our doorstep.
