During the renovation of this cottage, we carefully reinstated its period features while introducing thoughtful modern touches to enhance comfort and style. Cosy up in front of the wood-burning stove, unwind with a soak in the roll-top bath, and enjoy a restful night’s sleep in peaceful bedrooms fitted with secondary acoustic glazing, quality beds, and soft, luxurious bedding. On the ground floor, guests will find a welcoming living room with a wood-burning stove, a separate dining room with seating for four, a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, and a utility room with a washer/dryer. The cottage comfortably sleeps four guests, including children and infants. Both bedrooms are located on the first floor and comprise one king-size bed and one standard double bed The shared family bathroom features a bath with an overhead shower. To the rear of the cottage, a private patio garden is available exclusively for guest use. During the summer months, the flowers bloom beautifully, creating a charming setting to relax with a glass of wine at the end of the day. Other things to note Long Stay Cleaning Fee - Please note that stays longer than 3 weeks/21 Nights are required to pay a long term end of stay cleaning fee. An additional cleaning fee of £240 will be charged after the booking has been confirmed. We provide 1 stack of logs for guests use. Further logs are chargeable. Missing or lost keys are charged at £50 per key to cover cost of cutting and re-instating to the property. Only named guests are allowed access to the home. If someone has booked on your behalf, please ensure that they have given all of your details. We advise Infants should be 3 years old+, due to a 300 year old steep & twisty staircase which does NOT have a stair gate guard. Also can parents please note there is no fire guard around the log burner. We request furniture is not moved due to the age of the cottage. Absolutely no smoking or pets. We have tried to keep the cottage as allergy free as possible.
