Meet with family or friends at the Domaine du Vieux Chêne for an unusual vacation between the forest, sea and Poitevin marsh. Enjoy an authentic and welcoming cottage to share hiking, horseback riding or mountain biking, many tourist discoveries, swimming in the many bodies of water... We are close to Puy du Fou, the zoo and the Mervent forest, and the Poitevin marsh. 1 hour from La Rochelle, the Vendée coast, 1.5 hours from Futuroscope… There are plenty of activities! The space The cottage is composed on the ground floor of a fully equipped kitchen (ceramic hob, oven and microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, coffee machine, raclette grill, pancake maker, fondue…), a spacious living room with fireplace, sofa bed, large screen TV, DVD player, Hi-Fi stereo, board games…), a bathroom with walk-in shower, washing machine and dryer and separate toilet. On the 1st floor, 4 bedrooms and a bathroom with a spa bath and toilet. On a fully enclosed, wooded and flowered plot of about 1000 m², with private entrance and parking, terrace with barbecue and deckchairs. Ping pong table, badminton, electronic darts, foosball, pétanque... Wi-Fi in the whole house. Linens and towels are provided for stays of at least 1 week. They are available as a paid option for short stays. The dome allows you to spend an evening with family or a night for 2. It comes with a sofa bed. Guest access The entire property is accessible to guests. Other things to note Bed, bath and kitchen linen is included in the price for stays of at least 1 week, as well as heating and wood for the fireplace in winter. No additional fees are expected! For short stays, you have a choice: either you bring your own sheets and towels, or you choose the sheets/towels/kitchen linen option (sheets provided, beds not made). This option costs 80 euros for the duration of the stay, regardless of the number of people, it is to be paid on arrival at the cottage.
