Renovated, comfortable - fits 2. Home away from home. Experienced hosts. Designer garden. Separate & private entrance. Complete kitchenette, walk in robe, dining area & bathroom. Bus stop : 5 mins walk. Plenty of street parking. Safe leafy neighbourhood. Local shops/major shopping centres/golf course/fitness centres/laundromats/cafes within 5-10 mins drive. Light breakfast & some snacks included! NBN connected. Deck & dumbbells & washing machine use on request. Note low ceiling beam in room. The space Homey, warm and cosy in winter (centrally heated) and cool in summer. Modern and renovated. Shared garden spaces (with us) with your own little private garden in front of your front door. We have a friendly well behaved pet groodle puppy who may pop past and say hello! Additional notes - The ceiling beam in the middle of the room is low so the unit is not recommended for people over 5 feet 9 inches in height (175 cm). The room is a separate part of the main house, which is our private residence. We request all guests to make themselves known to us for that reason (please refer to the house rules for further details). We wash your clothes on a weekly basis as the machine is in the main part of the house (where we live). There is no washing machine inside your room. There are laundromats nearly within a 5 - 7 mins drive in every direction, from the house. All guests park outside the house as there’s plenty of on street parking. It’s a safe neighbourhood. Our driveway is just for our own personal use. Guest access You can access our garden at your leisure and enjoy some visiting cockatoos/lorikeets and the odd lady bug or praying mantis or two! We have some exercise equipment that you can borrow during your stay eg mat, dumbbells and balancer. You're also welcomed to use our deck too during the day (but pls let us know beforehand as it’s adjacent to our private living space). There is no washing machine in the room as it is in the main building (where we live) but we wash the clothes for you on a weekly basis. There are laundromats nearly within a 5 - 7 mins drive in every direction, from the house. There's a couple of local reserves within 5 mins drive away (Bellbird reserve, Koomba park) which are absolute delights if you're keen to go for a run or a nice walk. Other things to note Gym equipment available to use on request: - gym mat - dumbells with weights - balancer Washer - we will wash your clothes for you if you wish if it's a 5 night stay or longer. Otherwise there is a 24 hour laundromat in Forest Hill (7 mins drive), Mitcham (10 mins drive), Blackburn South along Burwood Highway (about 5 mins drive from the house) and Vermont south (about 5 mins drive from the house). Dryer - we can dry your clothes with a dryer but this will come with a nominal charge ($2 for each full cycle to cover our electricity costs) as this cost has not been considered in the daily rate. We will dry it at a setting you request and take no responsibility for any damage to your clothing. Clothesline - you're welcomed to hang your clothes out on the clothesline right outside the studio. There's also a large clothes rack in the studio. Fridge and freezer - the studio comes with it. Linen - there's plenty of linen in the white entry cupboard next to the front door so just help yourself if you need any extra bedding etc. Wifi - we'll provide the access codes on check in.
