The space The Lotus Bamboo House features two distinctive sleeping spaces, making it ideal for couples or groups of up to four people. The main bedroom opens to the outside through beautiful arches, allowing for unobstructed views and a true connection with nature. The second bedroom is a cozy bamboo dome located in the garden, perfect for a romantic stay or as a day lounge. Both the main bedroom and the bamboo dome are equipped with private bathrooms and open-air showers, allowing you to bathe under the sky while enjoying the serene surroundings. In front of the main house, a large net is providing a perfect spot to lounge and take in the stunning views. Guests can also relax in their own private outdoor jacuzzi, offering a panoramic view of the rice terraces. The design of the house is intentionally open, with no lockable doors, enhancing the sense of being immersed in nature. Rest assured, the area is very safe, and our local host, Made, who resides in the nearby village, ensures that you feel secure and welcome throughout your stay. Sleeping arrangements include a king bed in the main room that sleeps two, and a round king bed in the bamboo dome, also sleeping two. While the Lotus House does not feature an indoor common area, there is an outdoor seating area with a small fireplace for gatherings. On sunny days, the bamboo dome can get warm, but the open design of the main house allows for cooler relaxation with the refreshing breeze. Fans are provided for added comfort. Whether you're lounging in the outdoor net, soaking in the jacuzzi, or exploring the local area, the Lotus Bamboo House offers a unique and immersive stay that brings you closer to Bali's natural beauty. Guest access You have access to the entire house and it's all yours, so make yourself comfortable. Other things to note At Camaya Bali, we offer a peaceful, nature-immersed retreat in the beautiful rice terraces of eastern Bali. Located 80 minutes from Ubud, this is the perfect destination for those seeking a quiet escape surrounded by the natural beauty of Bali, away from the crowds. Living Amidst Nature: Our bamboo houses are open to the natural environment, so you may encounter insects, ants, small lizards, and mosquitoes. While our team works hard to maintain cleanliness, please be aware that bugs and small creatures are part of the experience here, as the house is designed to embrace the surrounding landscape. We provide mosquito nets, but if insects make you uncomfortable, this may not be the best fit for you. Towels & Linen: Due to the high humidity in the area, especially during the rainy season, towels and linens may feel damp at times. If you need fresh replacements during your stay, just let our team know and we’ll be happy to provide them. Breakfast Included: A complimentary breakfast is included in your stay. You can also enjoy lunch and dinner from our small, local restaurant. We recommend ordering in advance as there are no other dining options within walking distance. Remote Location & Amenities: We are situated in a secluded area, with no nearby shops or ATMs. To help you explore, we provide one complimentary scooter (for two people) per villa per night. Please bring sufficient cash as there are no ATMs nearby. Children & Safety: Due to safety concerns, we do not accommodate children under 12 at Camaya Bali. At Santai Hill House, which is accessed via a long set of stairs, children under 16 and guests with physical disabilities are unfortunately not able to stay for safety reasons. Hanging Net Usage: Our bamboo houses feature hanging nets, offering stunning views and a space to relax. For your safety, please use the hanging nets at your own risk. The outdoor net supports a maximum of 2 people. Avoid standing, jumping, or putting excessive weight on the nets. We recommend using both hands and feet when crossing the net and avoiding sitting on the edges. Noise Policy: The property is nestled among other villas with uninterrupted views, but to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests, we kindly request noise reduction after 10 PM. Drone Policy: Drone use is allowed between 8 AM and 9 AM, with prior permission from the team. Outside these hours, drone usage is not allowed to protect the privacy of all guests. Local Laws: We kindly request all guests to respect local laws. Sharing explicit or LGBT content on public platforms is discouraged in line with local regulations. Security: A small safety box is provided for your valuables. Our neighborhood is safe, with your local host, Made, a resident of the nearby village, maintaining good relations with the local farmers, who are always welcoming to our guests.
