The Apple TV show HOME also features Sharma Springs. The space Set on a river valley landscape along Bali’s sacred Ayung River, this 5 storey bamboo house is unique. It is the latest addition of a master-planned community of high end bamboo villas with its distinctive blonde roofs. Entering the house is a feast to the eyes and a showcase at how black and white bamboo can be combined in all shapes and pattern to create a stunning collection of luxurious floors, walls, ceiling, stairs and railings. Even the roof is an innovative arrangement of bamboo shingles. Sharma Springs is perched on the edge of the Ayung river valley, and comprises an 5 floors, with 5 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, kitchen, lounge and dining area with fabulous views, pool, and workspace on the top (5th) floor, a media room, and a kids playroom and an outside barbecue area. The main entrance is an enormous bamboo tube that acts as a bridge directly to the oval front door, where the lounge and kitchen are situated. Descending the stairs leads to 4 AC cooled bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms. The two upper bedrooms are the "Aura" and "Veda" bedrooms. The 2 lower bedrooms are called "Nirvana" and "Omalaa" bedrooms. All the bedrooms feature king-size beds. From the bottom floor, guests can exit the house to the private garden and pool, perched quite literally on the edge of the river valley. All the rooms are furnished with exquisite bamboo furniture which perfectly complements the décor. The scenery and view from the house are breathtaking. The images do not do the House and surrounding environment justice. There is also an annex house featuring a one bedroom with a queen size bed, and 2 small beds for kids. Sharma Springs includes an on-call House Manager, WIFI and adjacent guest house. For dining, guests can order breakfast, lunch and dinner from our menu. Just tell us the day before if you need this service. We also offer private lunch /dinner catering or a Balinese chef to cook at your villa and menus from Ubud restaurants who will deliver takeaway meals direct. Part of our attraction is that we are set in a very natural environment. There are a couple of local village stores nearby with some very basic supplies. The maid can help buy supplies for guests. Other available services are massage, yoga instructor and car with driver, and other Bamboo related guided tours.
