Hideout is a unique eco stay hidden in the mountains of Gunung Agung volcano - far from the city life it acts as the perfect hideaway for all adventurous travellers. We are honoured to be the number 4. most wished accommodation at Airbnb in the world. ♡ The space This experience is not like any other, Hideout is not some fancy hotel, it is truly an adventurous experience, rustic and authentic right in the middle of Balinese village life. If you read further, you can find much important and interesting information, but for those in a hurry, these are some key points to know. 1. Breakfast is included in the price, served in the house (Lunch and Dinner can be ordered from Hideout Bistro for an extra charge, vegan options as well.) 2. Scooter for free during your stay! 3. There is an equipped kitchen, unlimited drinking water, fridge filled with cold drinks. 4. Larg bed with mosquito net, wifi, music stereo system in the house, and a hot shower! 5. We can help to arrange your transport, find you the right guides, give you the best Balinese massage in-house or organise a great cooking class at Hideout Bistro. 6. Check-in from 3 pm, please no late-night arrivals. Check-out at 11 am. 7. We are in the middle of the jungle, please expect some wildlife. The building has two floors, on the first floor, you can find a neat, fully equipped kitchen, cosy living/relaxing area (with extra hanging hammock), wardrobe with safety box, bathroom, and entrance to the outdoor shower. On the second floor, there is a spacious bedroom, providing king size bed with a mosquito net. Right in front of the unique triangular window, there are multiple bean bags for reading, cuddling and relaxing, the perfect place for meditation or playing a musical instrument, all with a direct view of the shimmering river. This place is regarded by locals as a holy place for centuries. It’s a source of holy water for ceremonies and cleansing the body and spirit. During your stay, you will have the opportunity to observe Balinese during their ceremonies and baths. Campuhan is a very magical place, attracting good vibes and positive energy. You can’t lock the bamboo house, you can close the garden gate from the inside. From our experience in the Hideout, you can find an enormously inspiring environment, for your writing, music, art and work. In the kitchen, you will always find Balinese coffee, tea, sugar, salt, and some spices. If you don’t feel like cooking, don’t worry, we have a delicious Hideout Bistro – a kitchen concept! We provide breakfast (included in the price), lunch and dinner, and all can be brought to your house. We do not yet have restaurant seating, but you can enjoy the meals in the privacy of your Hideout. Bamboo is well-known for its temperature stability, thanks to natural ventilation, there is no need for AC or a fan. It can be very cold up here.
