Quiet and comfort guaranteed The space Our charming cottage, "Le Pirate", is ideal for a romantic stay, for families or groups of friends, for work or vacation. Located in a peaceful countryside setting, close to the beaches and just minutes from Rochefort, you can enjoy the many sights of Charente-Maritime. You enter the living room, with its equipped and integrated kitchen, lounge area and standing table, it is bright and functional. The living room is decorated in a bohemian chic style, with soft and soothing colors, soft cushions and green plants. You can relax comfortably on the sofa bed, or share a friendly meal around the high table. -> cozy and cozy studio of 25 m2 on the ground floor + mezzanine adjoining our accommodation has a flowery terrace with access to the garden to enjoy the sun and barbecues -> 4 beds with a double bed, 2 single beds in the mezzanine and a sofa bed -> secure parking in front of your accommodation so you don't struggle to find a place and know your vehicle is safe -> high-speed wifi to access the internet for free -> fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven and microwave to enjoy the gastronomy of the South-West -> filter coffee machine, Senseo coffee maker, kettles and my favorite treats are present to make you feel at home -> we lend you bikes (and helmets) and even a cart for "toup'tit pirate" for your excursions (security deposit requested) For an unusual and unique stay (because Fort Boyard and the beaches are great but there are plenty of other things to see in Charente-Maritime: picturesque villages, unusual historical sites, amazing museums, wild natural sites, lively streets...) you will find in my "welcome guide" ~ illustrated maps and plans ~ my favorite restaurants ~ my favorite places to get away from it all ~ my favorite walking tours ~ my 2 secret "timeless" places ~ my best tips and tricks to make the most of your stay The Pirate is 100% at the heart of History -> 9 minutes from Rochefort -> 30 minutes from Saintes -> 35 minutes from La Rochelle, Île d'Oléron, Côte Sauvage, -> 15 minutes from the nearest beaches -> 1 hour from the Green Venice -> 2 hours 15 minutes from Puy du Fou What our guests prefer: -> the cozy and unusual Pirate side, the decor -> the many touches, our hospitality and our smile -> amenities for kids -> secure parking -> the terrace and outdoor access -> the geographical location of the Pirate, "at the heart of what you need to see" Guest access Our guests have access to their parking in front of their accommodation (electric gate for which you will have a pass). You will notice on arrival that our yard, in which you will park your vehicle, has a part under construction: we are building a garage at the opposite end to the Pirate. For now the work is on standby because of a shortage of materials, but 🤫 shhh it's a surprise! You can fully enjoy the Pirate and have a great stay. The terrace at the back of the Pirate is separated from ours by a removable privacy screen and floral decoration, from the terrace our guests enjoy the view of the garden Other things to note We would like to ask parents to prevent young pirates from being surprised by the mezzanine net: it may deform. It was designed and assembled by a company on Ile de Ré that manufactures catamarans and the director explained to us that in the open sea the net stiffens itself thanks to the spray but that inside, without the humidity and the spray, it would risk remaining deformed if one hangs from it.
