The property is a 19th century recently refurbished cottage located just outside the village of Mitcheldean surrounded by beautiful unspoilt farming countryside. The cottage is ideally located to access all of the Forest of Dean and Wye Valleys major attractions. Perfect for families, small groups or couples wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and explore this scenic part of Gloucestershire. The space The semi detached property has two sitting rooms, a newly installed kitchen/dining area and enclosed/secure patio and back garden area. The patio contains a sheltered area making it ideal for al fresco dining in the middle of open countryside. The recently refurbished property also includes 4 TV’s (including 49 inch 4K SMART TV), all with access to Netflix/Amazon Prime along with high speed fibre broadband. The property contains a master bedroom and 3 additional single bedrooms. There is also the option of converting the second sitting room into an additional double bedroom, using the double sofa bed (see pictures). The property is ideal for families or small groups looking for a peaceful stay in the beautiful Forest of Dean countryside The master bedroom is on the first floor along with two single bedrooms. There is another single bedroom on the ground floor, along with the second sitting room which can also be used as a double bedroom. The property is in close proximity to all of the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley’s major attractions including Symmonds Yat, Puzzlewood, Peddleabikeway, Sculpture Trail and renowned picnic areas such as Beechanhurst and Mallards Pike. The historic market town of Ross-on-Wye is just a 15 minute drive away which offers excellent shops, pubs and restaurants together with beautiful Tudor buildings. Enjoy a Wye-valley river cruise, canoeing, hot air balloon ride or enjoy trips to the Black Mountains, Cotswolds, Malvern Hills, Hereford or Gloucester slightly further afield. After a day of adventure, guests can retire to the Cottage for a home cooked meal and enjoy a cold refreshing drink on the patio/back garden in the middle of the countryside. The property can host well behaved pets (upon request only) for an additional fee and in accordance with house rules. Note that the property will be deep cleaned and aired in between visits in line with COVID-19 standards. Guest access Guests will have complete access to the whole of the property.
