My fav is the beautiful blue/green waters at S Causeway Park inlet (.5) where you can swim, fish, rent jet skis, launch a boat/water toys you bring! The Jetty Pier Beach never disappoints! Nestled between the sparkling Atlantic Ocean and the serene Indian River Lagoon, you’re just steps from everything that makes Florida’s Treasure Coast unforgettable. With one of the best all-weather inlets in the state nearby, it’s a haven for boating, beaching, and all things water fun. Location Perfection: Only a 1-minute drive (with free parking) or a breezy 10-minute walk to waterfront restaurants, beach bars, and local shops. The area is great for biking—two complimentary bikes are available to explore the island! Our favorite nearby spot? The stunning South Causeway Park just half a mile away, featuring crystal-clear water, fishing, boat launches, jet ski rentals, and wide beaches perfect for lounging. Don’t miss a stroll down Jetty Pier—watch pelicans dive, catch a sunset, or cast a fishing line. Outdoor Vibes: Enjoy the large backyard with a hammock, Adirondack chairs, and a dining area under the stars. Please note: yard is not fully fenced. Garage Access: Guests may use the garage only to: • Access washer/dryer • Grab household supplies (shelves only) • Retrieve and return beach gear The rest of the garage is owner storage—please do not tamper with these areas. We can’t wait to host you at Cottage by the Sea—where unforgettable memories are made one wave at a time. Guest access Entire home - except garage. Garage has personal items & is NOT for guest use. We have security cameras on the entry to it. You are welcome to use the washer and dryer and access beach accessories or bikes. Extra supplies can be found on the shelves by washer. Walking distance to beautiful green & blue waters, many restaurants and beach access at Jetty Park. Parking for 2-3 cars or boat & trailer - inquire with size to ensure it fits or check out the last picture. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: The FL ROOM / AKA Lania/ enclosed porch is not under air, nor is it insulated. So when it's hot and the door to it is left open it will drastically use up the house AC. So unless you actively in it we recommend keeping the door closed & only let the AC in when your out there. Same with the garage / laundry area - it is not under air or insulated so it will be hot. Please keep that door shut and light off when not in use. Cottage by the Sea is located right on the Fort Pierce Inlet and offers easy access to fun and relaxing activities. Bicycles are available for guest use and are stored in the garage for your convenience. Use at your own risk. Please inspect the bike before riding and wear a helmet. By using the bicycles, you accept full responsibility for your safety and agree that the property owner is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from their use. Your just half a mile, 2 minute drive, 3 minute bike or 10 minute walk Ft Pierce Jetty Park Public Beach & Porpoise Beach and just a bit further (0.9 of a mile) to South Beach Park. We provide two bikes but no helmets so bring your own. BTW … Unlike the beaches in Palm Beach & more Southern FL, all of the beaches in St. Lucie & Martin County have free beach parking!
