Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun, indoors and outside in the bush, located in St Albans in the Hawkesbury. Perfect for being outdoors, pool, fire pit area and beautiful long outdoor seating table. The Chapel is a secluded getaway with plenty of space for two families, you will love the peace and quiet, the views of the lake, the bushwalking, BBQ, and swimming in the Macdonald river. We are dog friendly, kid friendly, perfect for your next getaway The space The Chapel was built by the Chinese Catholic church over 30 years ago and occasionally used for services, this has been converted into a residential property with large living spaces and plenty of beds. Two bedrooms upstairs, bathroom, small lounge, study and large lounge. Three bedrooms downstairs, games room, bathroom, laundry and large living, kitchen and dining that opens up to the terrace and outside seating, dining, BBQ and firepit. We have a wood burner and air conditioning (hot/cold) inside the property. All beds have electric blankets for the cooler months. a new concrete 10x4 swimming pool has been added to the property in Nov 2023 perfect for those hot summer days. For those that are more adventurous - there are fantastic bush walks, river swimming, kayaking (BYO), country walks, breakfast, lunch and dinner options on the weekend at the Pickle Wombat in the village. Please also be aware that there are no shops in town, you will need to bring all your own food etc..... Please be aware this is not the 5 star Hilton, it is rustic, quirky and in the middle of the bush, but perfectly charming and perfect for a small group. Guest access There are two bedrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs that are locked and not for guest use) the other four bedrooms are available. Other things to note There is unrestricted access to the lake from the drive - do not swim in the lake, children must not be unsupervised if by the waters edge.
