Villa Barbati Pelagos is a welcoming, exciting property with extensive grounds and private pool located just a couple of steps away from the sought after beach of Barbati. Providing amazing seaviews, airy interiors, amazing outdoor areas, Villa Barbati Pelagos is set to impress even the most demanding guests thanks to its space and unbeatable location. The space Relax under the poolside kiosk, splash in the large private pool, sunbath while enjoying the views of the sea with the boats passing by and Corfu Town in the distance: this will be a holiday to remember! And with a wide array of shops, restaurants, bars all within easy walking distance, a car is not essential. Inside, Villa Barbati Pelagos is set over 2 floors. The ground floor, at pool level, has a spacious lounge with adjoining kitchen and dining area. Beautifully furnished in Mediterranean colors, the lounge has a satellite TV, wi-fi internet connection, comfortable sofa (that can be turned into a bed for a 5th guest), and patio doors opening onto spacious pool-facing terraces providing beautiful views. The kitchen is modern and well equipped (including dishwasher), perfect for the preparation of meals of any kind. On the ground floor there is also a spacious double bedroom and a bathroom with shower next to it. Stairs lead up to the first floor, where the master bedroom and the second bathroom with shower are located. The bedroom has a double bed and access to a large private terrace providing the most beautiful views over the Ionian Sea. For the comfort of our guests, all the villa is air conditioned both in bedrooms and lounge (included in the rental price). The outdoor areas of Villa Barbati Pelagos are truly stunning. The patios of the villa feature a generously sized private pool (6m x 4m, depth between 1.5m and 1.7m, lit at night), comfortable sunbeds, shaded dining area with bbq as well. The poolside area provides beautiful views over the resort of Barbati and the turquoise sea, stretching from Corfu Town up to Albanian mainland in the distance. Parking is also available by the premises nearby. The amazing beach of Barbati is just 100m away and can be reached via a relaxing private footpath. NOTES: for the convenience of our guests, the price quoted includes everything, and no extras are required locally. Air-conditioning, wi-fi internet, maid service twice a week, change of hand/bath towels twice a week and change of bed linen once a week are included in the rental rates. Other things to note On the 15th of December 2023, the Greek Government introduced a new tax on holiday rentals with the aim to fight the climate emergency. The new “climate resilience tax” bacame effective in 2024 and will be consequently increased from 1st of January 2025 to the foreseen amount of 2 euros per property per night for studios and apartments and 15 euros per property per night for villas and large holiday homes (details are still under review, and official figure for each specific property will be added to the pre arrival info for all our guests). Therefore, for example, a stay of 7 nights in a villa during 2025 summer (non depending on the number of guests staying) will have a total climate resilience tax of euros 105. For all the existing and future reservations, the amount will be payable locally on arrival. Despite being this a sudden decision, which caused a considerable surprise in ourselves, we are therefore obliged to comply with the new regulation informing all our present and future guests of this extra charge.
